DON’T SLEEP ON THESE AI APPS
The artificial intelligence trend is everywhere. It’s easy to get caught up in the mix when searching for new tools to use.
Let’s be honest – most of these AI apps aren’t really AI. In some cases, it’s just a buzzword to make investors feel excited.
Our CEO, Fred Saeidi, is an investor himself. When he took to the floor of MAU he wanted to see if he could find some really strong, novel, and clever apps that use AI in truly problem-solving ways.
A lot of agencies are using the AI trend to find ways to cut overhead. However, the truth of the matter is that artificial intelligence won’t take jobs away. People who know how to train and prompt AI are the ones getting the better positions.
In advertising and marketing, whether traditional, mobile, or digital, the function of AI without our algorithms has been rocky at best. The recent issues with Performance Max and Performance Plus overspending is a good example. AI can be rigged in the favor of the house. Overspending or the inability to catch a mistake worth $2M when the account only spends $20 a day, gives marketers pause when leadership jumps on claiming AI is what we need right now.
Given this, Fred was able to find some amazing apps which we think will be game changers! We want to see really good applications of AI with our toolbox.
Here’s what he found:
Plotline
When Fred met the team of Plotline, he saw how this platform could enable marketers to make their app dynamic. Plotline makes it easy to launch various UI/UX elements like Stories, Native cards, Videos, Streaks, Animations, Walkthroughs and much more – without the back and forth with engineering.
This way, development teams can focus on the core product roadmap, and marketing teams can bring growth ideas to life inside the app – to improve metrics like onboarding and adoption.
On the AI front, Plotline ‘s technology uses artificial intelligence to analyse how users with different profiles behave and what they’re most likely to be interested in. A user who has just downloaded the app, for example, will see different promotions, nudges and options than someone who already uses it for multiple services. Plotline also allows for A/B testing so you can try new UI experiences on a select number of users without interrupting the flow for everyone.
Our team feels Plotline is the real deal that can help increase adoption and retention for your app.
ProtoPie
This team was seriously one of the best. ProtoPie is an advanced tool to help with prototyping for any type of UX/UI design.
If you have an idea for an app, IOT location-based, or any form of multimodal design, ProtoPie has already multiple use cases in Google, Samsung, Huawei, HBOMax, Meta, Verizon, and so much more.
Their astonishing program lets you build the app using an easy interface. The app uses AI to fill in the code to make it the best MVP it can be. The demos are amazing! ProtoPie has a huge opportunity for new apps to build either a sandbox or a beta version without a development team to do the heavy lifting.
It’s still good to work with a development team even though ProtoPie is seamless. You can get your MVP to demo quickly. Developers can then take the code and fill in the gaps using their knowledge and experience finishing the final product.
ProtoPie was so cool, our R&D has already started playing around!
CustomerGlu AI
An early-stage start-up, CustomerGlu AI is thinking beyond the user and enhancing behaviour economics of any app.
Without heavy SDKs or implementation by development teams, you can use CustomerGlu to build a gamification system. This helps encourage users to build good habits with rewards, badges, or other in-app-focused experiences.
For many wellness or health apps, habit is key. Something like CustomerGlu AI could really enhance those first few days when a user finds this new app solution to their lifestyle problem.
Similarly, for games or language apps, this could help build those healthy habits by rewarding breaks or achievements in use cases.
CustomerGlu AI is going to start changing the game and making the mark with users over the next year!
